The Divisiblity by 2 rule states that if a number is even (ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8), it is divisible by 2. A number is not divisible by 2 if it is an odd number (ends in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)

200: Ends in 0 (even). Divisible by 2

202: Ends in 2 (even). Divisible by 2

234: Ends in 4 (even). Divisible by 2

226: Ends in 6 (even). Divisible by 2

218: Ends in 8 (even). Divisible by 2

101: Ends in 1 (odd). Not divisible by 2

  • All multiples of 2 are composite numbers (Numbers that have other divisors than 1 & itself)
  • All multiples of 10 are multiples of 2 (They all end in 0)
