16 is the integer the proceeds 15 and preceeds 17. It's prime factorization is 2*2*2*2 or 2^4. A number is divisible by 16 if the last 4 digits are divisible by 16. 16 is the only number in the form x^y = y^x where x and y are different integers. 2^16 = 65536, which is the only known power of 2 which contains no digit that is a power of 2.
