Whenever you divide 5 by where x is 4. followed by a number of nines, the answer seems to give the first powers of 2 for some number of terms and the last term is the number+1 until the number of digits is equal to the number of nines in the decimal place of 4.+3, then the numbers don’t match up, for example:
5/4.9=1.020408163265…
5/4.99=1.002004008016032064128256513…
5/4.999=1.0002000400080016003200640128025605121024204840968193…
5/4.9999=1.00002000040000800016000320006400128002560051201024020480409608192163843276865537…
Does anyone have an explanation for this phenomenon?
